ProFractional ™

ProFractional is a dramatic new laser treatment for skin resurfacing. It can effectively treat mild to moderate wrinkles, deep acne scarring as well as post traumatic scars, melasma and sun-damaged skin. ProFractional achieves superior results because it penetrates deeply under the skin’s surface to stimulate production of collagen which smoothes out wrinkles, lines, scars, and other skin irregularities. The most popular areas to be treated are face, neck, chest, and hands. It is also very effective for stubborn wrinkles under eyes and around the mouth, commonly called “smokers lines”.
ProFractional treatments are spaced 3-6 weeks apart and 1-4 treatments are usually needed. A ProFractional procedure takes 15-30 minutes depending on the condition and size of the area to be treated and a topical anesthetic will be used. Immediately following the procedure you will experience redness and mild swelling. Healing takes only 2-3 days. You can apply make-up and return to work at that time.
ProFractional is an improvement on the original “Fraxel-Type” laser. Because it penetrates deeply into the skin, only physicians are allowed to perform the ProFractional procedure. Dr. Hart has been specially trained to perform ProFractional treatments.
